A horrifying incident has emerged from Jhenaidah Sadar Upazila, where a madrasa student was allegedly tied up and brutally beaten by a teacher for consuming two segments of oranges left over from an iftar meal. The student reportedly ate two segments of the leftover oranges. Upon learning of this, Hafez Imran Howladar, a teacher at the orphanage, allegedly tied up the student and beat him mercilessly on Wednesday morning.
Family members of the victim revealed that the incident occurred inside the orphanage premises. The student sustained visible injuries, with red marks covering his body from the beating.
